Craig Gamble - Bring Down the Moon

Mr. Gamble

"Such a fab little story about a Mole learning that the moon isn't as near as it looks. The mole is also very cute."

Mrs. Gosling

"I love this books as it proves how being smart wins over size and 'power'! So stay in school! Also I love how the gruffulo looks, especially the nobbly knees!"

John Preston - I broke my trunk!

"I broke my trunk is my favorite book because it has a funny story and I like to read it aloud with crazy voices."

Jennie Bonnalie - The Bramlby Hedge collection

"The Brambly Hedge collection of stories are a favourite of mine. The illustrations are so intricate and beautiful, and everytime I read it there is something new to find."

"Here is the picture of me with my favourite book. Of course it is a Puffin book, seeing I am the teacher of the Puffin Class. The book is called Puffin Peter. It is a fun book about Peter getting lost at sea and a whale trying to help him find his friend Paul."

Shruti Mondal

Jeni Wong

Julia Chow

Rebecca Preston - Grandfather's Journey

undefined

"I love this book because of it's beautiful illustrations, and the main character's love for two countries. I can relate to him, because I fall in love with each country I live in, and it can be hard to want to live in so many places at the same time!"

Peter Beairsto - Horton Hatches the Egg

Mr. Beairsto

Here is the picture of me reading Horton Hatches the Egg by Dr. Seuss. It is one of my favourite children's books for two reasons: It is a tale of persistence being rewarded and it has the famous phrase " I meant what I said and I said what I meant... an elephant's faithful one hundred per cent!"

Keith Gosling - The Gruffalo

undefined

Mr. Gosling

"I love all of Julia Donaldsons book so it was a tough choice, with a squash amd a squeeze in close second place.  I like the way the mouse outsmarts all of the other animals and ends up enjoying his nut in the woods!"

Joyce Duxfield

"My favourite book is called 'Be brave, little penguin'.

I like this book because it teaches me that it is alright to have certain fears in life, what we can do it to be brave and face our fears."

Nicky Robinson

Where is the Green Sheep?

"I like this book for the fun repetition and the delight of finding the green sheep fast asleep under the tree; totally oblivious to the world around!"
